A week ago today I got up before sunrise, went across on the first ferry, and stood in the not too long line to get my iPad. It was worth the trip, and the hard-earned money.
I love this thing to bits.
How do they do it? How do they get a factory in far off China to produce a million a month (or whatever) flawlessly built and scrupulously clean devises? It never ceases to amaze me. It literally could not be made better.
Often when I get a new gadget I start out with a “Well, we’ll see if this is good enough to replace what I’m using now” attitude. This gadget not only blitzes what I was using before, it dragged me about twenty years into the future. That is how significant this is, and is going to be.
